I’M TEACHING A 6-WEEK COURSE ON HOW TO WRITE A COOKBOOK AT STANFORD CONTINUING STUDIES STARTING IN JUNE. REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN IN APRIL AND I WILL POST A LINK ON THIS SITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA.

I’M ALSO TEACHING A BUNCH OF FUN NEW COOKING CLASSES AT DRAEGERS AND TWO OF THEM WILL BE TUESDAY RECIPE MENUS!
I will post links as soon as they are live. Here’s the schedule:

June 6              Greek Summer Menu in Menlo Park
Aug 20             Tuesday Recipe Menu in San Mateo
Oct. 29             Tuesday Recipe Menu in San Mateo
Nov. 12            Holiday San Francisco-style in San Mateo

I love being a student and recently finished an MFA in creative writing at the University of San Francisco. I’ve taught cooking classes for over 25 years at schools including Draeger’s in San Mateo, San Francisco Cooking School, Rancho La Puerta, and Tante Marie’s cooking school.

I often teach food writing courses  at Stanford Continuing Studies. When the next one is coming up, I will post the dates here and on social media so follow @tuesdayrecipe on Instagram.

If you are an Ina Garten fan, another one of the wonderful things I’ve been doing lately is interviewing her on stage. Next time we are scheduled to speak, I’ll post it here and on social media. She’s a gas.

When I’m not cooking, I’m usually writing, about food and other things. Here’s a taste of some my favorite articles:

Uncle Tim Cook Outed Me, Too, San Francisco Chronicle
Talking Less Turkey, San Francisco Chronicle
Loving Large Plates, San Francisco Chronicle, with Sam Whiting
Pizza in the Piazza, Stanford magazine
Father’s Day Breakfast in Bed, Ciao Bambino

And of course, there are my cookbooks
