2012 NEWS: I will be teaching a course on food writing in the digital age at Stanford Continuing Studies this fall, starting on September 27. The program is open to anyone. It is a 6-week course on Thursday evenings at the beautiful campus in Palo Alto. When registration opens, I will post a link here and on Facebook.

I'm also teaching a FOOD WRITER'S BOOTCAMP in San Francisco, June 5-8, 2012. This is a very unique opportunity, whether you want to be a food writer, blogger or cookbook author, or if you already are one and need to give your project some undivided attention. We will write, cook, and eat together for inspiration, but you will have several hours each day to focus on your own writing project, with one-on-one tutorials with me. For a course description and to enroll, click here

And here's a list of my current 2012 cooking classes:

Italian Summer Cooking on July 29 at Tante Marie's. In this One-Day Workshop, you will learn to make easy dishes such as Bruschetta with Sweet Bell Peppers, Capers, and Marjoram; Penne with Cherry Tomatoes, Basil, and Mussels; Spaghetti with Lemon and Bottarga; Summer Minestrone with Fava Beans, Peas, and Asparagus; Pollo al Diavolo (grilled spicy chicken); Zucchini alla Scapece with Chiles and Mint; and Chocolate-Cherry Crostata, and more.
SORRY: THIS CLASS IS SOLD OUT. SIGN UP
HERE TO BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST.

The week of September 15-22, 2012, I'll be the guest instructor at La Cocina que Canta, the beautiful cooking school at Rancho La Puerta spa in Tecate, Mexico. We'll be making easy, organic, healthy recipes with ingredients straight from the garden in three hands-on cooking class opportunities. Give yourself the ultimate gift of good health and good eating by coming to the Ranch. I'd love to see you there! Click here for more information on that week.
